JOHANNESBURG – Numerous filling stations around Gauteng are experiencing fuel shortages due problems at two major plants.
The Fuel Retailers Association says a Durban Refinery has shut down due to planned maintenance and there have also been unforeseen disruptions at Sapref.
This has now affected two main depots in Gauteng.
The association's Reggie Sibiya says BP garages have been the hardest hit.
“We have majority of reports saying BP garages are short of fuel.”
