World-building, especially FOR WHAT I AM DOING.
I have had random people approach and talk about "You're creating a story where Black-American slaves DIRECTLY FROM AFRICA. Get given SUPERHUMAN POWERS DURING SLAVERY!? Well this is gonna turn UGLY IN A HURRY!"

But then when those same people either don't know or find out later "OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, so!? The PEOPLE of the Guy who GAVE THEM POWERS, INTERFERED AND MADE IT SO THEY COULDN'T JUST SLAUGHTER EVERY WHITE-PERSON IN SIGHT, uhhhhhhhhhhh. Well...? Didn't really see that coming but it makes sense. They never sent the guy to earth TO DIRECTLY INTERFERE IN SHIT, so...? Wow...."

The WOW PART is strictly because these people who I have talked to and talk to on the regular are SHOCKED. Because what They're really surprised by is that THEY EXPECT a CONVOLUTED STORY THAT STROKES MY FANTASIES-&-BLACK-AMERICAN FANTASIES ABOUT BEING ABLE TO DEFINITIVELY DESTROY WHITE-ENSLAVERS AND THEIR WHITE-SUPPORTERS!"

Translation;
They expect juvenile poorly conceptualized and written out bullshit.

So He invested NO WORK IN WORLD-BUILDING NOR ACTUAL STORYLINE-WRITING TO MAKE SURE SHIT MESHED WITH THE ORIGINALS AND PREQUELS.
