The winner of the inaugural King's Cup tournament will bank a prize of R1 million
Swaziland Solidarity Network (SSN) have revealed that they will launch a revolution should Kaizer Chiefs andOrlando Pirates take part in the King's Cup tournament.

SSN and the Swaziland People's United Democratic Movement (Pudemo) are against the tournament which is organised by King Swati III, who is said to have violated human rights and ruled the country with an iron fist.

The two organisations believe that if Bucs and Amakhosi play in the tournament, it would indicate that the Soweto giants are pledging their support to the monarch.

According to SSN's Public Relations Officer (PRO) Lucky Lukhele they have put in place "underground" plans to dispatch a revolution if Pirates and Chiefs do participate in the King's Cup.

"All systems are in place underground and overground in South Africa and in Swaziland should they [Pirates and Chiefs] decide to ignore us," Lukhele said in the Sowetan.

"Our revolution will not be peed on by ignorant people. We have a network of people who are helping us and we are ready for anything," he concluded.

Swazi Premier League sides Royal Leopards and Mbabane Swallows will take on Bucs and Amakhosi respectively in the King's Cup semi-finals.

The one-day tournament will be played on the 18th of July at the Somhlolo National Stadium in Lobamba, which is between Mbabane and Manzini.
