Good Evening from typing my ass off in Philadelphia!
Katrina selected Byron because she needed someone who had graduated from GLA due to her own suspicions that AI had been compromised somehow by PAGAN-CORP. Needless to say that in order to get Byron to come to AI Katrina first had to literally defeat Karima who was hellbent on keeping Byron at GLA now that he'd successfully turned the entire facility into someplace that he could use to build his own power and have both ARC-Mangs and humans to sift through and select on who to bring into whatever cause he wanted to undertake.
Katrina however was able to contest and defeat Karima where it was Karima's dogged determination and passion even in defeat that convinced Katrina that Byron was the right Indoctrinated-IACF for her to drag into her crazy conspiracy witch-hunt! Where she only had vague assumptions and notions and not nearly enough evidence of what was really going on back at her own institute. This series of events right from the start would be the catalyst to Katrina and Karima's rivalry that Byron has to constantly keep tabs on so that shit doesn't sink the things he's set up! Now that he is of course older and the fact that Black Fox Diana eventually became a part of his life and became his 1st Wife!
Settled everything between Katrina and Karima and finally got him out of a tight situation between the two where he refused to accept and favor one over the other. Although both swear that he favors the other over them.
Counterstrike ARC-Mangs, as I've said before, do not have actual rights as a human-being. But they do have SELECT RIGHTS underneath the Counterstrike Constitution, along with whatever national laws that their respective nation has decided to provide. One universal law that can be found in all Counterstrike nations is the fact that ARC-Mangs have MORE RIGHTS when they are "married" to a Counterstrike Agent.
So it's obvious that the death of said agent has massive ramifications on the ARC-Mangs they are married to. Thus the reason why all parties involved fight as hard as they can because their collective futures are dependent upon keeping their human-husbands alive. And husband is a blanket term for man or woman even though all ARC-Mangs are female. Without disrupting my own work right now it should be obvious that problems arise when heterosexual female agents are put in situations where their ARC-Mangs are limited in their freedom of movement outside of combat. But their superior does not want to link with them or get too close to them because of their hyper-aggressive sexual nature. Even worse is when female agents link with them in order to improve ARC-Mangs abilities and then the fact that ARC-Mangs are NOT granted nearly enough rights to a normal life, where? Marriage allows that, but the female agent has reached her limits on how much she's going to sacrifice of her own self and standards.
I think it goes without typing that most males will recklessly think that linking to some superpowered set of bad ass bitches is a good idea... Until they get torn to pieces by either the link activity coming from the ARC-Mangs. The INDIVIDUAL ISSUES that the ARC-Mangs have where we as human-beings, do not SEE AND EXPERIENCE the dreams and subconscious issues of each other, however!? Once linked to an ARC-Mang a wrong-minded, dick-on-hard, dummy! Finds himself experiencing nightmares that come from the fact that the ARC-Mang can sense AND SEE HIS INNER-MOST THOUGHTS AS WELL! And being seen simply as a piece of ass for the moment DOES NOT GO OVER WELL. Where UNLIKE dealing with a human-woman, who at best will have to physically attack you or slander you. The ARC-Mang that you are linked to simply has to go on about her business while her conscious and subconscious thoughts tear your mind to SHREDS!
Right now I am working on fleshing out KK's background and backstory so the continuity is correct throughout the rest of the stories. The fact that I now have a real job with a decent wage and hours will allow me to buy Word 2016 and have the full-features that I need. Probably need to replace this laptop too. Either way!? Lemme get back to typing before I lose my train of thought!
