The Human League - (Keep Feeling) Fascination

This song from the Late 70's I believe, was playing in my grandparents house in South Philadelphia when I was growing up and as such, it has stuck with me and reminds me of them, even though THEY WEREN'T LISTENING TO IT! HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA! But it reminds me of a time when I consider myself TRULY BLESSED to have grown up in the Black Community of South Philadelphia before it was ultimately obliterated by the Crack Epidemic Created by Ronald Reagan & George Bush Sr., as well as the local Nigger-Traitor, Wilson Goode.

I grew up seeing Black People own EVERYTHING AROUND ME. Doctors. Lawyers, grocery stores, dry cleaning, etc! And even as a child their was always a bizarre undercurrent from Whites who DID NOT LIVE WITHIN OUR COMMUNITY. Until I finally went to My High School, I was only told in bits-n-pieces that there was a type of White Person who took issues with Me and Mine because of the color of Our Skin. But for as long as Black People controlled Our Neighborhoods, then I was not exposed to such stupidity.

Even as I type this I remember My Grandfather telling me that "There is always going to be someone who doesn't like you at some point or another. Always remember, it's the ones who dislike you for no good reason that you gotta be careful of. They're the ones who'll try to sneak ya...!"

Rest Well Grandfather and Grandmother and thank you for everything...!
