Dr. Boyce Watkins - Here's the real reason Whites have more than you do

I do need to HIGHLIGHT THE FACT THAT;

Black People DON'T OPENLY SAY "Go work for White People."

What We do say is "Go and work hard get an education AND THEN GET A JOB."

This was why I went to school for psychology.

Because as BENIGN as that statement APPEARS TO BE, UHHHHHHH...?

Who owns all the jobs?

WHOOPS!!!!!

So if you as a Black Parent and Person tell YOUR CHILDREN "Go get a job."

Uhhhhhhhh, who EXACTLY ARE THEY GETTING JOBS FROM?

And there ya go!

This is NOT BY ACCIDENT.

And it is a psychological BLIND SPOT from a lot of programming and conditioning and also centuries of Black People here and abroad BEING PRODUCTIVE AND SUCCESSFUL AND RE-ESTABLISHING BLACK ADVANCEMENT!

Only for it to get destroyed by Non-Blacks, ON PURPOSE.

So you have the cowardice and these psychological blind spots of Black People talking about generalizations of what and how We should do x-y-z.

Where there are NO SPECIFIC MENTIONS OF "You must go to school GET GREAT GRADES! SO WHILE I WORK THESE 10 GODDAMN JOBS OWNED BY WHITES, you can go to school and college AND GET YOUR CERTIFICATIONS/DEGREES! And then BUY UP ALL THIS BLIGHT THAT USED TO BE FACTORIES AND HOMES IN OUR NEIGHBORHOODS AND RENOVATE THEM!"

Bear in mind that the collective efforts of Black Parents sacrificing for Our Children means that ALL OF OUR RESOURCES GO INTO THEM GAINING THE KNOWLEDGE WE NEED ON A FINANCIAL AND TECHNOLOGY LEVEL.

So that We can COMPETE!
