It REQUIRES DEDICATION AND CONSISTENCY.
I'm sitting here right now in this room.
Working on Tyra Scargill's picture.
The fan is on and the door is closed.
The air conditioner has stopped working.
And I still have it in the window.
So it is simply this high-powered fan, blowing around what's left of the cold air before the air conditioner gave out.
I have JUST FINISHED INKING Tyra.
When I left out on friday I had DRAWN ENOUGH OF HER.
Where I decided to bring everything BACK HOME.
And unlike months ago, now?
When I bring my artwork home, I actually work on it.
I'm typing this right now.
Because I am thinking about people like You, Stacey.
Because I see you're back up on here again.
I am thinking about You and even Baby Dave Evans, and why?
Not because of anything involving My Relationship WITH YOU.
But because of the fact that both of You are a waste of talent.
A careful reminder for me of what happens when people get comfortable and don't keep pushing themselves AND THEIR TALENT, to the Next Level.
I am thinking about My Childhood Friend John Hudson.
Who grew up to be exactly like I found out he was when we were kids.
A con-artist.
A Liar.
And a Thief.
Scheming His Way from One Con to the Next.
And as much of a waste of talent as the aforementioned.
Sitting in this room.
WORKING....
It reminds Me of My Upbringing.
It reminds Me of the Fact that I had to WORK.
For what I got.
For what I EARNED.
Today?
I spent the afternoon with My Middle Brother and Nephew.
And I enjoyed it.
So I'm sure My Coworkers From the Dayjob will be...?
More at ease.
Because I did not just come back home and work all weekend.
Sitting here though?
It reminds Me of My Grandfather.
Who always used to remind Me that You HAVE TO WORK TO GAIN AND ACHIEVE WHAT YOU NEED AND WANT OUT OF LIFE. Don't waste YOUR TIME AND TALENTS ON LAZY FOOLS WHO THINK SCHEMING WILL GET THEM THROUGH LIFE!
