It is not A PRIVILEGE TO PLAY A SPORT.
This was & is, A JOB WHICH REQUIRES YOUR ENTIRE YOUTH & EARLY LIFE TO AUDITION FOR AND QUALIFY FOR.
And I type that BECAUSE WE AS BLACK-AMERICANS ALLOW OURSELVES TO BE TOLD THAT WHITES ARE DOING US SOME FAVOR BY "LETTING US PLAY THEIR SPORTS IN THEIR LEAGUES WHERE WE MAKE THEM BILLIONS OF DOLLARS."
That's not something to ALLOW anyone to TRIVIALIZE nor can We trivialize THE REALITY OF WHAT IS ACTUALLY GOING ON & WHY.
Pro-Sports has existed for a LONG TIME ALL ACROSS THE WORLD.

For the Record My Mother's Side of the Family WON A WHOLE LOT OF BASKETBALL TROPHIES & HER BROTHERS HAD TRYOUTS ON THE SIXERS BACK IN THEIR DAY!
None of Us played or trained or worked at the Sport with the Mindset of USING IT AS A MEANS TO AN ENDS OF BECOMING RICH, so I will give Ben Simmons CREDIT FOR UNDERSTANDING THAT SUCH A THING COULD BE DONE, and Yes, I typed I give Him credit for that, HOWEVER...?
He is about to learn that...?
His Victory has its Price....
His Career is Over.
