'White Supremacy'
For Lonnie Randolph Jr, president of the South Carolina
chapter of the NAACP, Walter Scott’s fate can be attributed
to five words: “We’ve never left the past.” He compare’s
Scott’s murder at the hands of a police office on April 7, to
that of George Stinney, the 14-year-old executed in South
Carolina in 1944 during the Jim Crow era. The teenager was
arrested, tried, convicted and executed within 81 days in a
small town north of Charleston for the murder of two white
girls. It was long argued that his confession had been forced
and last year a judge eventually overturned the conviction. It
is a case that still haunts the state. South Carolina remains \
one of only two states to fly the Confederate flag at the State
House. “We still carry that baggage from 1865 today,” says
Randolph. “That flag of division, the flag of hate, the flag of
white supremacy is flying on our State House grounds.”
Since Scott’s death the North Charleston police department
has come under intense scrutiny, Kerry Taylor, a history
lecturer at the Citadel, Charleston’s prestigious military
college, is sympathetic to Randolph’s view of the historic
forces at play in the state. But he argues that local dynamics
and gentrification play their role in explaining at least some
of the disparities and discrimination in Charleston County.
“...There’s one Charleston, where the population of middle
class and upper middle class is swelling, taking advantage
of new jobs. What that’s done though is create pressure on
the black community and the working class in Charleston,
pushing them to the periphery.”

The South Carolina State Arsenal (also locally familiar as "The Old Citadel") was built in 1829 after a planned 1822 slave revolt led by Denmark Vesey.[2] In 1842 the South Carolina Military Academy, a liberal arts military college, was established by the state legislature, and the school took over the arsenal the following year. The school became known as the Citadel because of the appearance of its building. From 1865 to 1881, during Reconstruction in Charleston, Federal troops occupied the Citadel, and the school was closed. Classes resumed in 1882 and continued here until the school was relocated to a campus on the banks of the Ashley River in 1922.
Frederick Wesner and Edward Brickell White are credited with the Citadel's design. The original State Arsenal building was a two story brick building around a courtyard, designed by Wesner. White was responsible for changes to the building about 1850, and added the third floor and wings.[3] A fourth floor was added in 1910.
Charleston County used the building for government offices during much of the 20th century. In 1994 a local development firm renovated the building for use as a hotel.
Note that the Citadel was originally designed and built SOLELY TO MAKE SURE THAT BLACKS COULD BE SUPPRESSED IF AND WHEN WE REVOLTED. However? THE MODERN DAY CITADEL DOESN'T WANT TO BE ASSOCIATED WITH THIS FACT! SO LOOK AT WHAT THEY DID TO DISTANCE THEMSELVES FROM THE REALITY OF HOW THEIR SCHOOL CAME INTO EXISTENCE;
In 1829 South Carolina constructed an arsenal on what is now Marion Square in downtown Charleston to house arms and ammunition. (NO MENTION OF HOW THE ARSENAL IS THE SAME ONE ABOVE AND THAT IT WAS CREATED SOLELY TO MAKE SURE THAT BLACK SLAVE REVOLTS CAN BE REPRESSED! INSTEAD THEY SIMPLY SKIP OVER THIS FACT AND DON'T INCLUDE IT, WHICH THEN MAKES THE CITADEL SEEM LIKE IT WAS JUST SOME HARMLESS HAPPENSTANCE OF THE TIMES! THIS IS WHY BIGOTRY CONTINUES IN NAZI-AMERICA, BECAUSE WHITES DO NOT LIKE HAVING TO LOOK AT ALL OF THE BLOOD ON THEIR HANDS AND ILL-GOTTEN GAINS, OPPORTUNITIES, WEALTH AND EXCESS THAT THEY HAVE AND ENJOY) The State entered into an agreement in 1830 with the War Department for Federal troops from nearby Fort Moultrie to garrison this new arsenal, state militia replaced them in 1832. Over the next 10 years arsenals throughout the state were consolidated in Charleston and Columbia. Governor John Richardson eventually proposed converting both into military academies and on December 20, 1842 the South Carolina Legislature passed "an Act to convert the Arsenal at Columbia and the citadel and magazine in and near Charleston, into Military Schools" thereby transforming the two state arsenals into the South Carolina Military Academy. The act specified:
The first 20 cadets reported to the Citadel Academy at Marion Square in downtown Charleston on March 20, 1843, a date now celebrated as "Corps Day". Initially both schools operated as separate institutions governed by a common Board of Visitors, but in 1845 the Arsenal Academy in Columbia became an auxiliary to the Citadel Academy in Charleston. First year students attended the Arsenal then transferred to the Citadel Academy to complete their education. Both schools continued to operate during the Civil War but the Arsenal in Columbia was burned by Union forces and never reopened. The only surviving building from the Arsenal is the current Governor's Mansion. [18]
Why have I put all of this here? Because those amongst us WHO ARE SERIOUS ABOUT REBUILDING OUR PEOPLE NEED TO UNDERSTAND THAT IT ISN'T WHITES WHO ARE THE PROBLEM! IT IS THE MASSES OF SHIFTLESS, COWARDLY NIGGER-TRAITORS WHO WOULD RATHER EAT OFF THE SCRAPS OF WHITES! THAN HELP REBUILD US OR OUR PEOPLE! These Niggers, must be ELIMINATED BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY! Because with THEM GONE! THEN WE WILL HAVE INTERNAL STABILITY AND WE CAN FINALLY REBUILD KNOWING THAT THE ONLY THREATS WE FACE LAY OUTSIDE OF OURSELVES!
