Hollywood itself was Founded by a White-American Christian.

However various movie-making companies had set up shop in and around Los Angeles, which Hollywood directly bordered.

These movie-making companies had come west because, as usual, laws had been written regarding the patents for movie-making and they were all held by Thomas Edison's company based on the East Coast of the United States.

These movie-making companies fled the East Coast SO THEY COULD UNLAWFULLY MAKE MOVIES AND EVADE THE PATENT-ENFORCEMENTS FROM EDISON'S COMPANY.
