The main reason why I like this particular anime is because OF ITS REALISM.
It is something that too many of Us as Black People have become HONESTLY AFRAID OF.
And that is;
DEATH.
To HONESTLY FIGHT FOR YOUR BELIEFS.
Means You have to face the reality THAT YOU MAY DIE.
Especially if what you SAY AND/OR DO IS A LEGIT THREAT TO WHATEVER OR WHOEVER YOU ARE UP AGAINST.
In this anime, MOST OF THOSE SHOWN ABOVE.
DIED.
And I mean 95% of the characters shown above DID NOT MAKE IT TO THE END!
However their individual sacrifices ADDED UP TO A COLLECTIVE VICTORY IN THE END.
And THAT is what it was supposed to be about ANYWAY!
