Labor Budget!?

GOOD EVENING FROM UPPER DARBY!

I have returned and I have learned something NEW! A new term that I'D NEVER HEARD USED BEFORE! IT IS CALLED LABOR BUDGET! Now? I've said it before, My Own Business Endeavors were always a One-Man Show, ME. Or were ideas that would involve one or two other people aside from me. But at NO POINT. Was anything centered around a Labor Budget. Here's the definitions I found of Labor Budget;
DIRECT LABOR BUDGET is a budget of planned expenditures for direct labor. The direct labor budget indicates the rate per hour and the number of hours necessary to meet production requirements.
I also found this example too;

How to Calculate the Direct Labor Budget for the Upcoming Fiscal Year

by Kevin Johnston, Demand Media
Direct labor costs are wages paid to employees to manufacture a product. Because of rising and falling demand, you need to create a budget for the coming year. This will tell you how much you need to spend in each month, and help predict when you need to hire or layoff employees. This budget will also give you an idea of your expenses for your product, and thus your expected profit. Your budget for direct labor costs is dependent on your production expectations. After you know how much you plan to produce, you can calculate the direct labor costs.
Step 1
Average all the wages in your production department. Add all of the wages you pay per hour, then divide by the number of employees. This is your average wage per hour. For example, you might find that your employees earn on average $12 per hour.
Step 2
Calculate the number of labor hours required to produce each unit. Include all departments that handle the product during production. You want a figure for one unit. Example: A toy requires the cutting department, sewing department and finishing department to put in .25 hours per unit. Observe your employees at work on products and time each department's handling of units.
Step 3
Multiply the number of hours per unit times the average cost per hour. In the example, .25 hours times $12 per hour equals $3 per unit. Your direct labor cost would be $3 for each unit you produce.
Step 4
Multiply the labor cost for each unit times the total number of units you plan to produce. For example, if you foresee producing 100,000 units, you know your cost will be $3 times 100,000 for a total direct labor cost of $300,000.
Step 5
Break your total labor costs down into monthly costs. For each month, project how many units you plan to produce, and multiply by your per-unit labor cost. This will show you how much money you need to spend on labor each month of the coming fiscal year.

Tip

  • Add the cost of materials to your direct labor costs to find out how much each unit actually costs you to produce.
Look? >_< This is why you actually go to college to learn a trade and/or craft and/or get certified, so you can do something you HONESTLY ARE GOOD AT AND ENJOY. Now? This changes pending on the viability of the degree and/or trade you are after or learning. Going to college just to go to college is POINTLESS. Especially in today's world. You have to go to college to get a USEFUL DEGREE THAT YOU CAN MAKE MONEY OFF OF. However? The invisible tipping point TRULY IS THE FACT THAT YOU HAVE TO BE HONEST WITH YOURSELF! Nobody likes to talk about the countless people here in Nazi-America that have GOOD OR GREAT DEGREES. Hate their jobs and the degree they have. And ultimately end up ABANDONING whatever profession they spent all of that money getting a degree for, because they don't actually LIKE what they are doing. Keyword; like.

So you do have to have some sort of LIKE, for what you're doing, otherwise you're eventually gonna burn out. I'm just back from work. My feet are fucked up. And I need to get laundry on and dinner going, so I can turn around and do it all again tomorrow. Lemme get moving again. There is PLENTY FOR ME TO POST. I may just post the stuff that doesn't require me to type too much of my thoughts on it. Because I am accustomed to honestly posting and a part of me is not comfortable with the way my post count has declined, because I make quality post MOST OF THE TIME. Even if it's just music vids, just stuff that gives you some more insights into me and might be stuff that you wouldn't NORMALLY listen to.

Shout out to PAUL CHEW! Who told me the other day while looking over my drawings "What's up with the Cat-Bitches?" HAHAHHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAH! I LAUGHED MY ASS OFF AT THAT! I then explained it to him, MIND YOU!? I HAVE NEW DRAWINGS AND HANDWRITTEN WEBSITE MATERIAL THAT I HAVE NOT INKED, COLORED OR TYPED AND POSTED! This is where having a busted up body gets tedious, BUT I'M GONNA SOLDIER THROUGH AND IT WHY!?

Because I understand and remind myself that there are people in this world who would trade my busted up body for their invalid one in a heartbeat! SO DON'T MISTAKE MY COMPLAINING FOR NOT BEING THANKFUL THAT MY BODY WORKS ENOUGH FOR ME TO BE ABLE TO WORK AND MOVE AND BE ABLE TO LIVE DAY-TO-DAY WITHOUT ASSISTANCE. Lemme get moving! CUZ I'M BURNING NIGHT-LIGHT!
HERE WE GO!
