Ohio Police Chief Rocks Confederate Vest and says it has Nothing to Do with Nothing

Good Evening from Upper Darby!

Here is an article that SHOWS WHY so many Black People are easily killed in Ohio. And I love White Audacity where THEIR PRIVATE LIFE IS PRIVATE, BUT!? Get a Black Person doing this and THEY NEED TO BE REMOVED! WE NEED MORE DETAILS! I BET A WHOLE BUNCH OF BLACK PEOPLE WERE IN ON THIS! It is funny to watch the ATTEMPT by Whites to try to claim Black People have ALL THIS SHADOWY POWER TO FUCK WHITE PEOPLE OVER, meanwhile REALITY SHOWS THE EXACT OPPOSITE! The real intent is to play the role of the victim, same as Whites did while they were EXTERMINATING Native American Indians;
PORT CLINTON, Ohio -- The police chief in Port Clinton is making no public apologies for wearing a piece of clothing that has offended many people.
As flags and banners wave in downtown Port Clinton, the talk of the town seems to have shifted to one flag in particular, after someone made private Facebook pictures public.
The photos were of Port Clinton Police Chief Robert Hickman wearing a Confederate flag vest. While some are calling it racist, others say they do not see anything wrong with it.
"I think he was just wearing a shirt," said Port Clinton resident Bryan Meek. "Out having a good time one day, and that is basically it."
The pictures of Chief Hickman wearing the Confederate flag vest were taken when he and his wife, Roseann, were on vacation last month in Sturgis, South Dakota.
"I do not look at the Confederate flag as a racist symbol," said Chief Hickman.
People who have known Chief Hickman for years are defending him.
"I have known Rob since before kindergarten, basically my whole life," said Meek. "And I could tell you, that there is not a racist bone in his body."
But not everyone agrees.
One person in Port Clinton said the flag is not his cup of tea and is insensitive, considering what has been going on throughout the country.
This comes after public outcry led to the removal of the Confederate flag from the South Carolina State House. The flag remains a hot-button issue around the country.
"I mean, he is a good guy, and he does a lot ... for the community," said Port Clinton resident Bill Rigoni. "He is community-minded, and he is absolutely not racist, to the best of my knowledge."
People on social media also started picking apart a picture of Roseann, which showed her holding up her middle finger. The gesture supposedly goes hand-in-hand with the Sturgis Skeleton.
"I will not discuss my personal Facebook page, which has a privacy setting for my friends only,"  Roseann Hickman said in an email to the Sandusky Register.
The Hickmans also released a statement, saying, "Our private life is not open for discussion."
Roseann is one of three candidates running for an at-large seat on Port Clinton City Council this November.
This also brings to light the issues with posting to social media as a public figure. It has the family thinking twice about future posts.
"Guess you find out who your friends are," said Rigoni. "You cannot trust anybody I guess these days."
"I really personally think that, if you want to post something on Facebook, and it is intended for your friends, it is really intended for your friends," said Meek.
