This Anime made it to a 2nd-second but I have heard nothing about a 3rd.
I enjoyed it FOR WHAT IT WAS WORTH.
But it had A LOT OF LESSONS REGARDING LEADERSHIP AT VARIOUS LEVELS.
And what it means to HONESTLY BE A FOLLOWER OF A LEADER!

Sitting here eating and watching the anime called Kingdom. Forgive typos as I'm rushing to get my thoughts out! But the General Wang Qi is talking to the main character Xin who is a military prodigy as far as BEING A WARRIOR. He is LEARNING what it means to be a general. This is episode 27 by the way.
Wang Qi points out to Xin that as a battle goes on certain types of generals excel because of their ability to see and understand when and where to do what and how!
MY POINT for posting this is to POINT OUT that currently we as Black Americans IN PARTICULAR are still playing the bullshit game of; WE DON'T NEED NO LEADERS. Which I understand, SINCE I AM A LEADER, is a sign of COWARDICE. And make no mistake that Whites are NOT FOOLED by Us attempting to pretend like we are not saying these things because of the fact that Whites have historically MURDERED Our Leadership without so much as an excuse to do so.
So as I am watching Wang Qi TEACH Xin, who is a boy by the way, everything LACKING IN OUR COMMUNITIES RIGHT NOW is being DISPLAYED IN A FUCKIN CARTOON. A GROWN MAN is OF LEGENDARY STATUS is teaching a teenage boy HOW TO BE LIKE HIM and THE BUSINESS THAT THEY ARE BOTH IN, which is the business of Leadership in Death, which is ultimately what the art of war is, death. Because you kill people and/or get killed in a war.
Bottom line is watching their interaction JUST NOW just made the bullshit notion of WE DON'T NEED NO LEADER YOU BE A LEADER, being a LEADER requires having some natural talent, personal CHARISMA, and then the ability TO LEARN AND GROW with the understanding that THOSE WHO FOLLOW YOU IN ANY WAY ARE YOUR. RESPONSIBILITY. So you have to lead wisely AND LEAD WELL. But when FOOLS begin claiming that YOU DON'T NEED LEADERS OR LEADERSHIP, well?
You can see what happens if you're a Black person reading this. It simply doesn't work, no matter how much you try to make the river run backwards. OH AND NOTE, for those who DON'T BELIEVE that Black People have INFLUENCE. Notice how POPULAR the FIST-BUMP has become OUTSIDE OF OUR PEOPLE? Go do some digging and you will find NO MEDIA-MEDIUMS OUTSIDE OF OUR OWN that used it. But once Barack Obama and a number of Black based shows AFTER his election came out and everyone saw how the Black characters were fist-bumping, now even Japanese-anime has fist-bumps galore. And I say this TO POINT OUT THE FACT that the world still watches us. The question becomes what images and ideas of US do we want them to reflect back.....
