One of the very top-tier characters in my eBook-universe is Horus the King of Camden City. His rise to power came from frustrating tragedy where friends of his were killed while on a high school field trip where they passed through Camden City to get back to Philadelphia and stopped in what was supposedly a "safe waterfront-area" to eat. Only to be brutally murdered by the ongoing gang war of the time and then DISMISSED by the Corrupt Camden City Police Force, because "Maybe if they'd been focusing on stoppin Black-on-Black crime then they wouldn't have gotten themselves killed like that. Your people are always making excuses for the fact that you kill each other at ridiculous rates. Maybe you outta focus on that, worry about THAT! Instead of blaming us for your problems."
Well!? Horus took that to heart and enjoyed the fact that if it was all about STOPPING Black-on-Black CRIME!? Then that meant that EVERYTHING HAD TO BE CONTROLLED AT EVERY LEVEL BY BLACKS, TO STOP BLACKS! Something that his then girlfriend, now wife, told him "He...? You know he didn't mean for us to rise up and attempt to takeover the city, right? RIGHT!?"
"Then he should've shut the fuck up and not given his unasked for and unneeded fuckin opinion! If all these fuckin cops are needed to stop Black Crime and the shit still isn't done!? Then doesn't that fuckin mean that the fuckin cops HAVE FAILED IN THEIR ASSIGNED TASKS AND DUTIES AND MUST BE REPLACED!? How the FUCK!? DO YOU KEEP YOUR FUCKIN JOB WHEN YOU ARE FUCKIN FAILING AT IT! I'll fuckin tell ya how, you get to keep your fuckin job when you are ACTUALLY DOING YOUR JOB. And it is crystal clear the weaponry, how the FUCK!? Do a buncha broke-ass niggas get fuckin military-grade fuckin weapons!? But yet they NEVER GO OUTSIDE OF CAMDEN WHERE THE REAL WEALTH IS AT! WHERE THE REAL BIG SCORES ARE AT! Fuck am I supposed to be, STUPID! And that asshole!? He just LET ME KNOW, you want shit done right, DO IT YOURSELF! Manny and everybody else, fuckin DEAD!? And this fuckin ASSHOLE!? THINKS THE SHIT IS A FUCKIN JOKE! Well..? Let's see him fuckin laugh this shit off, fuckin piece-a-shit, asshole!"
Horus ultimately created his first exo-armor
and originally took on the name Orion the Hunter! And he then began ATTACKING THE GANG THAT KILLED HIS CLASSMATES! Bringing him into conflict with Corrupt Camden City Police and Governance! Leading to him DECLARING WAR ON THEM AS WELL!
He then was able to gain ALLIANCES with some Camden City Gangs and he quickly CREATED HIS OWN FORCE! He was then joined by neighboring Indoctrinated-Maroons who had been in hiding from Imperial American Counterstrike Forces! As well as stranded Otherdimensionals like H/K-Z, that Counterstrike was created to HUNT DOWN AND KILL!
This formed the basis for the Royal Court of Camden City, IN THE END!? This blitzkrieg of UNEXPECTED INTERLOPERS! Was able to ANNIHILATE THE NON-ALIGNED GANGS, THE CORRUPT POWER STRUCTURE OF CAMDEN! AND TAKE THE CITY FOR THEMSELVES, ATTRACTING EVEN MORE INDOCTRINATED-MAROONS AND THEIR ALTERED-HUMAN POWERS AND ABILITIES! Turning Camden City from an abandoned destitute city on the Delaware River across from Philadelphia!?
Into the first earth-city run and RULED ENTIRELY BY ALTERED-HUMANS AND OTHERDIMENSIONALS, OPENLY! The hot-n-cold running war TO RECLAIM CAMDEN, has been a mockery and embarrassment that the Imperial American Empire has been trying to downplay and resolve. Where various parts of the Empire have been covertly and overtly supporting Camden City in response to the ever-increasing disconnect and tyranny on the part of the Imperial American Government! Towards its citizens and foreigners alike!
Horus is an Omega-Level Target for Termination with Omega-Level Powers and Abilities thanks to modification made to him by the Otherdimensionals who follow him, like H/K-Z, and the Indoctrinated-Maroon Altered-Humans like Tyrone Tarqa! The cat-n-mouse games between Him and the Imperial American Government (IAG) and Imperial American Counterstrike Force (IACF) has been legendary and so far He and His Royal Court of Camden have been able to hold their own for over a decade. Much to the chagrin to the IAG and IACF...!
