World Within Worlds vs. Death the Kid & Others....

GOOD MORNING FROM PHILADELPHIA!

Death the Kid and the Thompson Twins Liz-&-Patty come from the anime Soul Eater. Liz-&-Patty have the ability to turn into handguns which Death the Kid uses. The characters are mentioned in passing by a number of characters throughout my ebooks as a sign that the characters I've created not only watch anime but as one reader said "Wait!? They can watch TV-programs from other dimensions WTF!?" it was something that I subtlety included where the point of me having them discussed was NOT to piggyback off of Soul Eater but to point out that THEIR FORMS OF ENTERTAINMENT allow them to see TV-programs FROM NEIGHBORING OTHERDIMENSIONS the same way when I was going to school at Lincoln University my TV could pick up all of the channels from BOTH Philadelphia, Washington DC AND BALTIMORE MARYLAND! Because of where Lincoln University sits at the fringes of Pennsylvania, directly bordering the Maryland and Delaware states.

For each instance that these types of things happen it shows something about the characters I've created and what THEIR OWN MENTALITY is, based on the anime characters and shows they reference. Bottom line is that of course you'd have to even KNOW anything about the anime characters to even get what's going on. One person even identified that in From Child to Man, Book-Zero it was clear that one of the characters watches the 5150 Show and is a fan of Corey Holcomb.

These types of "inside jokes" vary and are scattered and are not always funny nor lighthearted as various political points are made where one person successfully understood that some of the Lu Family members while debating a course of action regarding their own predicament were actually quoting Marcus Garvey when they pointed out how their own lack of political knowledge and educational history had gotten them into the mess they were now faced with.

Regarding Death the Kid?

Byron Maxwell's Terrible Trio of his Meteors, Yazmin, Alondra and Rhonda Maxwell! Are notoriously known for their bizarre fetish with Japanimation/Anime and the fact that they literally will spin adventures off the top of their head and talk in anime-terms while in the midst of a battle or operation. Which was, is, why they ended up at Crusader Base. Because they were EFFECTIVE... but WEIRD. And ARCs with too much personality are ultimately deemed DEFECTIVE. However their respective success-rate made them too good to simply terminate them. But too unstable to be left to either their own independent operations on assignments or paired with other human-controllers who often times got tired of trying to figure out what the fuck they were saying and why.

YAR, which is the absurd acronym that they they GAVE THEMSELVES, are big fans of Death the Kid and Liz-n-Patty;
